Mid-Century Modern, Brutalist, Studio Made Copper and Brass Accent Table
About the Item
Studio made copper and brass accent table with smoked glass. Made to have a brutalist flair, the artist used different pieces of textured copper and brass to cover the entire table. The plates are affixed with copper staples then coated in a thick layer of lacquer to protect it. The table is multidimensional and displays a vast array of colors that change depending on the lighting.
Table would make a great addition to any room. Or a great accent to a mid Century Modern, natural, postmodern, or brutalist themed rooms.
Artist is unknown but takes elements of Paul Evans and other great designers of the period.
Piece was sourced from the original owners in a Miami estate. Was purchased in the design district in the 70s.
