Mid century Scandinavian inlaid elm coffee table

About the Item

Mid century Scandinavian inlaid elm coffee table circa 1950. Good quality circular coffee table made in Sweden.  Fine mid century design but with a strong influence from the art deco period.  Beautifully inlaid with burr's and figured timbers to create the dragonfly over a pond scene.  Further inlay all the way round the edge.   Standing on 4 legs with a grooved detail, slightly splayed for stability. Minor restorations to veneer around outside edge.  Recently re-finished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
