A rare custom made low table, on 'Chinoiserie' faux bamboo legs, in gilt and painted wood with specimen marble inset, very much in the style an of the quality of Mallett Antiques, who made small tables of this form and decoration for clients to complement their elegant antiques. London, circa 1960's – 1970's. A highly desirable and sought after model. Why we like it Colourful and elegant, this very chic low table is a perfect coffee or cocktail table for an intimate setting, and will look great with a display of small objects. Superb quality, timeless style and desirable proportions. Good vintage condition, light marks on marble, rubbing and touchups to painted and gilt decoration. Ready for placement in a room.
