About the Item
Exceptional Mid Century ceramic tile top coffee table, having an unusual kidney shaped mosaic tile top, mounted on sculptural trapering wood legs, with brass sheathed feet. The tiles are high glaze finish in off white with gold toned striations throughout. This example is in very fine, original, clean and ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. Most of these tables were made either in Italy, Scandinavia, or the USA, this one was made in Japan.
The legs screw in to metal plates which allow for either a slightly splayed configuration ( as shown ) or straight up and down, if you prefer.
Please note, the legs are a honey maple tone, not dark, the close ups of the legs are the actual color.
Legs unscrew for easy transport and storage.
