Midcentury Chinese Carved Six-Leg Folding Table Base with Engraved Brass Top
About the Item
This small, versatile coffee table was crafted in China, circa 1950. The folding base with decorative supports has six carved legs which can easily be folded up flat. The brass tray plateau decorated with engraved geometric motifs has a twelve sided polygon shape. The unique, two-piece cocktail table is in excellent condition with a rich walnut patina throughout the base, and a patinated top. This occasional table would be the perfect piece to use in a multi-functional room or a small space, given that it can be set up and quickly put away with ease.
