A Chinese Ming Dynasty style square-shaped wooden coffee table from the 19th century, with original distressed finish and hand-woven rattan top. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this coffee table features the stylistic characteristic of the Ming Dynasty. The table presents a square top with woven rattan inset, adorned with a reeded edge on all sides. Showcasing its original finish with a nicely distressed patina revealing its age and use, the table is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through humpback stretchers. With its elegant Ming lines and great patina, this Qing Dynasty wood and rattan coffee table from the 19th century will make for an excellent addition to any home, placed in a living room or under a covered patio. An antique Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood coffee table from the 19th century, with hand-woven rattan top inset, square legs, open apron and pillar strut motifs. Created in China, this low table was originally made from a cut down Lohan bed, also called an opium smokers' bed. The table showcases a rectangular top with hand-woven rattan inset and slightly beveled edges, sitting above an open apron accented with a regular rhythm of pillar strut style motifs. It is raised on four sturdy square-shaped legs giving great stability to the ensemble. The design is the same on all sides, the table will be able to float in a room and be seen from all angles.
