A Modern Coffee Table With Solid Brass Legs and a Black Lacquer Top
About the Item
This unusual coffee table combines a top made of black-lacquered wood discs and a complex brass loop base. The top is made from a solid wood that has been laser-cut to resemble individual discs; in fact, they are one. The substrate was then covered with oak veneer. Many coats of black lacquer were added to produce a durable and high-gloss sheen. The metal base is made up of multiple brass arcs of varying radiuses and orientations, creating a unique design. The irregular, multi-disc top creates a dynamic contrast with large upholstered sofas and chairs that tend to be squarish and massive. This bespoke table fits well with either modern or antique decor.
