Monumental 9 Foot Cocktail Table or bench in Walnut
About the Item
A remarkably large coffee table table or bench 9 feett length. Depth 19.75" x 15" in height. Produced from 100% solid walnut lumber with no veneers. It includes 3 cased boxes that attach to the underside which pull out on steel slides providing a black laminate surface for additional drinks or food service area and cocktails. These cased boxes are removable This table was taken from an estate where the owner had Dunbar 9 foot sofas and quite possibly this table was produced by custom order through Dunbar, but it is not marked. It is a very heavy table with the top having a knife edge to the sides and bears a striking resemblance to construction techniques of the "Long John" table by Edward Wormley Has been refinished is a specialist varnish designed specifically for use with food and provides unparalleled protection from water, hot beverages and iced drinks and alcohol and will not leave rings on the surface.
