Nakashima Style Live Edge Walnut Slab Coffee Table

About the Item

Nakashima Style Live Edge Walnut Slab Coffee Table This free-form, live edge coffee table was hand-carved by an unknown craftsman from a substantial slab of black walnut. This slab of wood has some gorgeous grain! Oak butterfly keys are inlaid at one end, which help to stabilize the wood in an aesthetically pleasing way. One end of the table has been decoratively carved, adding to the overall artistic feel of this piece. The tapered legs are positioned at a slight angle, allowing the surface to appear to float. The free-form top features gently curving natural edges, as well as beautiful figuring in the wood. This is a striking table that will truly make the room. Bring the feel of the forest inside.
