New Hope Coffee Table - Michael Oates
About the Item
Hand crafted live edge slab cantilever coffee table. Made from highly figured wood with a variety of wood species choice. The table is designed and made by designer Michael Oates. Drawing its influence from the New Hope area and its neighboring river towns, paying tribute to the area's deep roots in the craft design scene and movement. The table features intricate inlay to the slab table top, carved and sculpted live edges, slab support leg and cantilever strut. The table pictured was a custom commission by the artist using burled silver Maple, and ribbon Sapele. This coffee table is made to order and can be designed in various size speciation and choice of wood species. The artist and designer is highly collectable in the primary and secondary markets and is know for his works on canvas as well as in wood.
