Oak Pig Bench Butcher's Block Coffee Table
About the Item
What a fabulously rustic table! Three planks of oak nearly three inches thick are joined to make this beautiful slab, slightly rounded at one end and bearing all the scrapes and scars of decades of purposeful use. A modern patch on one bottom edge contrasts with the hand-shaping beside it. Joins and other cracks are reinforced with iron staples hammered deep into the end grain. The hand-hewn legs are mortised into oak cleats which are dovetailed into the underside of the top.
