Luxury Organic Modern Coffee Table, Furniture Sculpture, High End Wood Art Immerse yourself in an undulating world of curves and caverns with this intricately designed and crafted organic modern coffee table that takes the idea of a sculpture and luxury furniture design to the next level. Make the visual journey in and around this wood coffee table a design experience in your modern living room or your high end lobby. The flowing organic modern curves are accomplished by meticulously and individually cutting out 120 layers of 1/4" birch plywood and precisely stacking them together to create this amazing, unique, and flowing form. The Static Dynamic Collection Coffee Table is an artistic expression of the juxtaposition of erosion and accretion, growth and decay, merging and diverging which is inspired by natural forces and the regulatory patterns found in nature that dictate form. The slight variations in the wood and the meticulously stacked and laminated layers create striations which establish the illusion of age or compositional change and magnify the idea that mass was either added or subtracted to achieve form. The inspiration, material, and construction technique together create a visual language that appears to be actively evolving which establishes a presence of the fourth dimension in each piece – Time. Designed By David Rozek Created by Pandemic Design Studio Materials: 120 pieces of ¼ inch Baltic birch plywood laminated together and finished with polyurethane. ¼ inch in-laid polycarbonate top.
