PALLE SUENSON & FRITZ HANSEN - SCANDINAVIAN MODERN Sculptural and rare easy chair with stained beech legs, designed by Palle Suenson and manufactured in 1940's by Fritz Hansen. A unique sourced piece of design, first exhibited at the renowned "Snedkerlaugets Møbeludstilling", Kunstindustrimuseet, now Design Museum Denmark. A "design inspired by the comfort of the automobile seating and at the same time costumed the requirements of a modern home" Source: Snedkerlaugets Møbeludstilling. The armchair have been reupholstered professionally in cream coloured shearling and cognac coloured buttons. Very comfortable and a beautiful attribution to both modern and classic interiors.
