About the Item
A pair of cashew lacquer, coffee tables, made by Gracie in the early 2000's in their New York art studio.
The tops feature antique pieces of Japanese leather, from samurai armor boxes. The wood legs and aprons were made to fit the leather pieces, and finished in a beautiful, dark brown cashew lacquer finish.
The tables have traditional tapered, legs, and horse hoof feet.
The leather pieces each have a Japanese family crest in gold .
