About the Item
This pair of tables from the early 20th century is an outstanding example of the fusion between Art Deco and Cubism, specifically the unique Czech variation known as Rondocubism. This style, championed by prominent architects Josef Gočár and Pavel Janák, is characterized by geometric forms and rounded elements, making these tables exceptional design pieces.
Crafted from a combination of oak and walnut veneer, the tables have been preserved in their original, authentic condition. The polish has been professionally revitalized to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. Their dimensions and shape make them versatile, serving equally well as nightstands or bar tables. This pair is a perfect representation of Czechoslovak craftsmanship and design heritage from the first half of the 20th century.
It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
Our professional refurbishing team in Czechia has fully restored it according to the original process.
