Pierre Gautier Delaye (1923-2006), rare pair of solid beech coffee tables, France, 1955. The rectangular openwork top in the middle rests on 4 log legs joined by crossbars. Like Charlotte Perriand, or previously Jacques Henry Le Même, Pierre Gautier Delaye revisits the codes of popular furniture. Presented in 1956, the Week-end series edited by Vergnères won the René Gabriel Grand Prize. 3 pairs of tables available, of different sizes, from a community.
