Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning, super rare 18th century Spanish primitive three legged bench which can be used as a coffee table Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price This has to be one of the oldest and most charming pieces I have ever seen, it dates to circa 1800 so its over 220 years old, it was designed as a bench for a farm most likely, it looks like a milking stool but those were much smaller, this wouldn't work for that function so I have no idea what it was intended for. The piece has been used this and last century as a coffee table, it has so much character it commands attention from all whom gave upon it! The timber is primitive and lightly burred to the top, the whole piece has been lightly restored by my French polisher, he has made sure it is 100% solid and stable and lightly sealed the finish, that's it In terms of its function as a bench, I recommend against it, I would suggest sticking to "stunning coffee table" Dimensions Height:- 38.5cm Width:- 76cm Depth:- 26.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
