Qing Dynasty 19th Century Coffee Table with Carved Apron and Dark Patina

About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period coffee table from the 19th century, with carved apron and scrolling feet. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period, this low table, which could nowadays be used as a coffee table (the Chinese didn't used coffee tables in the 19th century), features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above a beautifully carved apron. This apron is adorned with a central calligraphic motif surrounded by scrolls, animals, foliage and geometric accents. Raised on four straight legs with scrolling feet, the table boasts a dark patina. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. With its small proportions and nicely carved décor, this Chinese Qing Dynasty low table from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any living room or covered patio!
