'R5' Coffee Table
About the Item
The title of our 'R5' coffee table design derives from the 5" radius found throughout the piece. The table features book matched repurposed skateboards that flow into the floor. It has a solid walnut trim harvested from a single board to ensure colour and grain continuity and a solid walnut column turned by hand on the lathe.
The beautiful curves and vibrant colors of the skateboards create a mesmerizing visual effect, while the walnut trim and base adds a touch of sophistication. Versatile in design, it serves as both a striking coffee table and can also be used an entryway bench
This piece is not only a functional coffee table but also a work of art that showcases the perfect fusion of sustainability, creativity, and design and is an example of how we continue to push the boundaries of incorporating old skateboards into our woodworking practice to create unique and highly artistic one of a kind furniture pieces.
