Roger Rougier asymmetrical lacquered wood and beveled glass coffee table
About the Item
Extraordinary Coffee table by Roger Rougier in lacquered wood with beveled glass. The lacquered wood is asymmetrical with a beveled edge finish and the thick beveled glass slides in under the lacquered piece. The glossy cream finish on the lacquered wood compliments the thick clear beveled glass piece perfectly. It was made in the 1980s by Roger Rougier in Canada. The table has a Roger Rougier label. This specific piece is rare and very hard to find, it’s believed there were only a handful of this table produced.
Roger Rougier was a French designer known for his innovative furniture and lighting designs. His groundbreaking designs include one of a kind lighting, tables, and homewares. Rougier’s contemporary designs have won him world recognition.
