About the Item
This unique sculptural brutalist bronze coffee table is a work of art. It is a master piece of design and execution by three highly skilled master casters made in the 1970's. The floating forms of interlinking square and rectangular shapes evoke lightness under the weight of the solid bronze. The abstract relief balances between the four bronze cast legs. The glass table top floats above the relief and is cleverly slotted into groves in the legs away from the floating art relief.
The patina emphasis the texture of the bronze interconnecting shapes of their bold angles and warm finishes, harmonizing its three-dimensional landscape to an exceptional effect.
Originally there three made but only one of them exists today.
