Spanish 1980s Rodolfo Dubarry's signed octagonal coffee table
Hand crafted with fine brass sheets etched over a wooden frame and covered in mirrors.
Rodolfo Dubarry arrived in the seventies in Spain and worked tirelessly. His first special creation was the fireplace of the Menchú, the most exclusive bar in Marbella at the time. He worked in his own studio, where he was able to experiment with new materials. From the beginning, every piece of furniture was handmade according to traditional methods for each client separately.
This piece is consistent with his early works, wooden furniture covered with brass, silver or alpaca. The furniture in this 'Marbella period' is considered a collector items.
Collection World opened Volubilis Antiques in Marbella back in 1994. We are at the heart of Dubarry's work.
