About the Item

Minimalist Italian marble coffee table attributed to Carlo Scarpa 1960-70's. The solid base is build of staggered vertical sheets of Italian marble in forest colors os taupe with light grey veigns and ochre. The top is glass cut with soft rounded edges. This table is most likely produced for the high-end Italian brand Cattelan, Italy. Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978) was a prolific architect and designer of Italian furniture, by the materials He used this robust staggered design repetedly in architecture as well ans furniture. The Base, circa 70 kg, measures 37 x37 xHeight 41 cm. Glass Top, in very doog condition, 104 x 104 x 1.5 cm.
