About the Item
Designed as a custom commission for a cliffside Laguna Beach home by iconic Southern California designer Steve Chase, this dynamic low racetrack table features a top of cracked glass, a common element in Chase’s works, encased in a 1″ band of shining chrome. This top is supported by two sturdy cylindrical chrome bases, which were anchored to the floor. The glass surface is fabricated of three layers. The top and the bottom are pieces of smoked glass and the middle is comprised of a layer of crackle glass which displays multiple veining and sections to create a unique texture.
