Sturdy Gothic Revival Hand Carved Oak Coffee Table or Side Table w. Great Patina

About the Item

Stunning antique Gothic design, coffee or side table. This wonderfully bulky table really is of an impressive quality make and it also is practical in size. It comes with deep and beautiful, hand carved Gothic elements all around. It is not made for it, but to give you a better idea of its strength, this large and very thick table top is strong enough to hold a couple of grown-ups (both sitting and standing) and this rare Gothic table also has an incredibly warm patina. It looks as amazing as the day it was handcrafted (at least 100 hundred years ago) and because of its size and design it can be used for several other purposes as well. This rare antique AND talking piece with the hand-carved, Gothic church window carvings all around, stands perfectly strong & stable. Because of its quality make and condition this antique can and will be used and enjoyed for many more years, decades and even centuries to come. It will look marvelous in an entry hall, at the footend of your bed or in any other space where it has the room to shine. If you appreciate its rarity, its ancient look and feel, its beauty and its quality as much as we do then maybe you should be its next custodian. This stunning antique is great value for money. Especially when taken into account that perfect packing (in a custom made crate or box) and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days are included in our already fair price. Unique and striking Gothic Revival wall cabinet with perfect working lock and key. This handcrafted and probably unique Gothic Revival wall cabinet from the late 1800s is another one of our magnificent recent finds. The size, the quality in the large amount of hand-carved Gothic details, the patina and the excellent condition make this another perfect purchase for collectors of this ancient and highly decorative style. The overal design, including the Gothic church window in the door, is right up there with the best we have seen to date. However, what makes this Gothic work of beauty really stand out for us, is the combination of the patina of the light tiger oak and the perfect condition, green cathedral glass panel in the door. That combination truly is a joy to look at. The door, by the way, still opens and shuts tight perfectly and it comes with a perfect working lock and key. Have you also noticed the original, gilt bronze lock plate? That is a work of art in its own right. The clean inside of this cabinet comes with two removable, solid oak shelves and the inside of the door is veneered with a wonderful bird's eye maple. On the back of this unique and antique Gothic cabinet...
