A truly beautiful Norwegian coffee table executed in a warm and atmospheric teak. This table has an impressive size and is very sturdy and heavy. The quality of this piece is undoubtedly, the logic but elegant design, the solid wood used and the overall appearance of this piece convinces easily. The table top has edges that move up slightly at the outer ends, and there is a drawer situated under the top. Due to the large surface but narrow shape, this table would fit beautifully in many sitting areas.

Torbjørn Afdal
Torbjørn Afdal was one of the leading designers at Bruksbo Tegnekontor and in Scandinavia. Afdal became more well known when his furniture was bought by US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and by the Japanese Emperor. In later years, he was granted the commission to design the parliamentary and chairs and tables to the courthouse in Oslo.
