About the Item
A wonderfully ornate hand crafted mid-century wrought iron coffee table, the legs worked and twisted to give the impression of a Leopard or Gazelle running, the animalistic design has been exceptionally well executed, with great attention given to every detail of the iron work, all the way down to the paw like feet.
The banded rectangular table frame houses a glass top which is most likely a later replacement.
Areas of wear in some parts of the ironwork, and tiny nibbling at the corners of the glass where it has rubbed against the frame, these are not visible when the glass is in situ.
An incredibly unique and beautiful piece of artisanal furniture, circa 1950’s.
