About the Item

Coffee table with 3 mm Malachite coating Hard stone of excellent quality. Made between 800 and 900 in Italy. The gilding was redone 15 years ago measurements: 155 x 67 H 48 cm Tosco Ticciati, a long tradition of wisdom and artisanal heritage. Born in the early 1970s, as an artisan workshop for processing hard and semiprecious stones, the Opificio Tosco Ticciati continues the Tuscan tradition begun in 1588. The work started in the former monastery of San Niccolò, founded at the behest of the Grand Duke Ferdinando I de 'Medici. The Tosco Ticciati company has always distinguished itself as being a family run business. First, Ticciati laboratory specialized in the production of fine furnishings for the home. Today the company is known for its highly skilled craftsmen, extraordinary tailor-made creations and the unique works of art. The company is built on the passion for high craftsmanship. Each phase of the Ticciati production is carried out inside the factory in Montaione, a small town in a hilly area near the city of Florence. Located in the heart of Tuscany, it is considered the cradle of the Renaissance and high craftsmanship. Handicraft heritage and experimentation, a constant dialogue between different elements create unique works of art destined to last over time. Each process follows entirely manual technique, handed down by the Medici tradition born in the sixteenth century.
