19th Century English Regency Console/Serving Table in the Manner of George Smith
About the Item
An exceptional and unusual early Regency mahogany and ebony banded serving / console table, with brass gallery back above a rectangular top with breakfront reeded edge and bowed ends, resting on a frieze with two disguised central drawers with rectangular brass banding, above six elegant leaf carved S scroll legs, the scroll supports are adorned with fine carved leaf decoration, terminating on hairy paw feet.
