19th Century English Regency Console/Serving Table in the Manner of George Smith

About the Item

An exceptional and unusual early Regency mahogany and ebony banded serving / console table, with brass gallery back above a rectangular top with breakfront reeded edge and bowed ends, resting on a frieze with two disguised central drawers with rectangular brass banding, above six elegant leaf carved S scroll legs, the scroll supports are adorned with fine carved leaf decoration, terminating on hairy paw feet. Circa 1810 English Dimensions: H: To Top Of Table: 38 in / 96.5 cm H: To Top Of Brass Gallery: 57.88 in / 147 cm W: 72.45 in / 184 cm D: 25.52 in / 64.8 cm.
