20th Century Angelo Mangiarotti Console Table Mod. Incas for Skipper, 1970s

About the Item

Angelo Mangiarotti was a very important italian architect and designer, born in 1921 in Milan. He studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and gratuated in 1948. He then went to the US for a short period of time where he had the chance to meet Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius and Mies van der Rohe, who were crucial to his own growth and style development. Here we have a console table model Incas made by Mangiarotti in 1970s for Skipper. It is made in gray pietra Serena and is installed with gravity interlocking. Published in: G. Gramigna, Repertorio del design italiano 1950-1980, p. 456, Mondadori, 1985. Good condition, fully original. Ready to be shipped.
