Antique Hand Carved Gold Gilded Putto/ Cherub Console Table Late 18th Century

About the Item

This splendid unique and extremely rare antique Austrian baroque Console Table is a real piece of Art. The table has been owned by members of the Habsburger Royal Family of Austria. It has been hand carved out of pine wood and gold gilded. The wooden top is mounted on a stunningly attractive Putto/ Cherub with his left hand risen and right hand pointed towards his heart. The Putto itself stands on the wooden pedestal, which is decorated from both, right and left hand side, with bronze ornamental elements. This table is an eye catcher and certainly a conversation piece. It would look fabulous anywhere in the interior and can be used, for instance , as a side table or as a pedestal for a beautiful vase with flower arrangements.
