Used as a low console to present items of specail nature. This is a wonderful example following with solid cabriole one piece legs having a waterfall ends. Highly collectible small low Kang table of the Qing Dynasty in very good original condition. Kang tables played an important role in northern Chinese society. Smaller low Kang tables such as this one where typically placed on canopy beds, daybeds and couch-beds, to hold and display books, vases of flowers, incense burners and other objects.
