English 1800s George III Oak Console Table with Carved Drawer and Ionic Capitals

An English George III period oak console table from the early 19th century, with carved drawer and Ionic capitals. Created in England during the early years of the 19th century, this oak console table features a rectangular planked top sitting above a frieze drawer adorned with carved motifs. The ensemble is resting on four legs, the front ones richly carved as fluted and reeded balusters and topped with Ionic capitals, the hind ones straight. The low shelf is ideal for pots or decorative objects of your choosing.
