About the Item
Opulent neoclassical style two-shelf bookcase, shelves or console table featuring a high polish nickel plated finish. The table is constructed with six round legs having finials on top and ending with tapered feet. The legs are conjoined on three sides with dramatic x-form stretchers. The shelves are inset with opaque black glass. The top shelf has a matte finished glass and the bottom shelf has a polished mirror style glass. Superior craftsmanship and polished details. No makers mark, however, the style is inspired by several French designers such as Maison Bagues, Maison Charles, and Maison Jansen to name a few. From an estate in Hollywood, CA.
