    A Spanish walnut wood stretcher table, with beautifully carved lyre legs, from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain features a rectangular-shaped top which is comprised of a single board, raised upon a pair of scrolling lyre-legs with carved tassels adorning their outer edges and swirling medallion accents at their tops and sides of each volute foot. Elegant forged-iron stretchers fill the space beneath the table with an arch-shaped design, and disc accents. The walnut wood is warm and rich, with lovely patina and age, reflective of it's history. Please note that there are some areas with wood losses, and there have been prior repairs to damage at underside (see additional images for further detail on condition).
