The Star Axis Collection represents another playful and iconic form in the constellation of furniture and lighting by Neal Aronowitz. The Star Axis Console in Polished Concrete has already made its mark in the design world as a 2022 NYCx Design Award winner for residential tables.
Powerful yet restrained, each piece is unique and lovingly hand-crafted in Neal Aronowitz' Portland, Oregon studio. The polished concrete has a rich patina with subtle markings and textures. The open angular shelf holds books and magazines. As a console or serving table it serves as functional furniture and blurs the distinction between art and craft.
The surface is well sealed and highly resistant to stains and easy to clean. There is simply nothing else like it! Practical, playful, elegant, and sophisticated.
Neal Aronowitz art/design was founded in 2014 and with just a few powerful and iconic pieces of furniture and lighting, has quickly won acclaim in the international design world.
The vision of the studio is the design and fabrication of highly sculptural, hand crafted bespoke furniture and lighting.
Aronowitz’s debut piece was the Whorl Coffee Table, which won international notice including a feature in Elle Décor and was the recipient of a People’s Choice Award at the AZ Design Awards, sponsored by Azure Magazine.
