20th Century Italian Modern Demi-Lune Brass Dressing Table by Luigi Brusotti
About the Item
A 20th Century, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian demi-lune dressing table made of hand crafted polished brass designed by Luigi Brusotti , in good condition. The vanity table is composed with a kidney shaped, slightly smoked original glass top and a lower shelf which is embellished by stars, standing on three legged legs. The lower part can be illuminated. The top part of the make-up table is consisting an oval mirror which is adjustable. The wires have been renewed. Minor fading, scratches on the glass due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1930 - 1940, Italy.
Luigi Brusotti was an Italian designer and artist, born circa 1880 and passed away circa 1940, in Italy. Brusotti's personal life and professional training remains lost in history.
