About the Item

A fine antique marquetry inlaid & marble topped flame mahogany demi-lune cabinet, circa 1900. This very elegant antique demi-lune cabinet with a cream and caramel veined marble top, the case is made of the finest figured mahogany & has a single locking door (original key is present) to the center & encloses two shelves. The door is bordered with crossbanded satinwood inlay with inlaid fan shaped spandrels to the corners, to the center is an inlaid oval panel with a shell design, to each side are panels with corresponding inlays. The cabinet is raised on four cabriole legs with carved scrolling & acanthus leaves to the top and terminating to carved & scrolled pad feet. The cabinet is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your space, it would serve as a great drinks cabinet.
