English 17th Century Charles I Oak Demi-lune Console Table

About the Item

A wonderful, timeless, early English Oak Demi-Lune Console Table, made around 1630 during the reign of Charles I, showing great patina and charming signs of use and age. The demi-lune shaped top above a plain frieze with restrained decoration of reeded corners nd applied half-spindles, contains one drawer with a simple ring pull. The four column legs are connected by plain arcades under the frieze and stretchers all around at the bottom.
