About the Item

George III Mahogany Tea Table Item Code: 1052 A fine George III mahogany tea table of demi-lune form, dating from the late 18th century. The hinged fold-over top opens to reveal a polished interior surface, supported by a rear gateleg action, forming a circular tea table when extended. The frieze is fitted with a single drawer to the front, retaining brass ring handles and original escutcheon, with a dummy drawer to the reverse for symmetry.
