About the Item

Antiques of London This late Qing Dynasty console table (circa 1880–1910) exemplifies the artistry and craftsmanship of late imperial China. The piece is finished in a deep red lacquer, which has developed a rich, naturally aged patina, adding depth and historic character. The front is adorned with three hand-carved drawers, each featuring intricate floral motifs and fitted with original brass handles, offering both decorative beauty and practical storage. The table’s straight square legs and delicately carved apron are hallmarks of Qing-period design, balancing refined proportions with structural integrity.
