18th Century, Gentleman's Writing Desk and Games Table

About the Item

Wonderful, circa 1780, hand carved, petite writing desk inset with game chess and backgammon game boards. The top featuring its original, inset marble. The whole on tapered legs terminating in ormolu feet.
