18th Century Louis XV Kingwood, Amaranth and Parquetry Bonheur du Jour or Desk

An 18th century gilt-bronze mounted double-face Bonheur du jour panelled with herring-bone parquetry. The kidney shaped top with one frieze drawer and an opposing dummy drawer flanked by two cupboard doors enclosing a shelf, with scrolled acanthus leaf gilt-bronze mounts above cabriole legs with gilt-bronze sabots.
