About the Item
Beautifully scaled mahogany and mahogany veneer bureau plat from the Louis XVI period Double-sided decoration, with lateral pulls., resting on elegant tapered legs, with brass beading and feet (original) Decoration of fine brass fillets and a brass molding surrounding the drawers . Large box drawer has a lock box interior and fitted tray.
Period locks and Key. Top and lateral pulls sheathed in original black stamped leather top. Leather is cracked.
