18th Century Provencal Hand Carved Walnut Wood Antique Writing Desk Side Table. Beautiful Hand Carved Circa 1700’s Provençal Continental table in walnut and Fruitwood with center drawer as a side table or small writing desk. These tables were special commission at the time for either “un Mas “ French country house and Manoir A manor, Large stately historical house in the south of France , Provence . It's the perfect addition to a Provincial design , as a side table , between two chairs , to mount a table lamp . It can be used as a night table as well by the bed side, Or as a small bureau writing desk . In interior design could be used as an End table , in a rustic décor , in a farm or a winery. In an entry to use it as a console , or when hosting your friends, you can use it as cards game table or a serving table for the drinks and the amuse bouche. By your sofa this table will make a great companion . It's not an oak somber table , the walnut and fruitwood gives furniture much charm . to host or mount on top a decorative bibelot or books with a candle holder .
