1950s Italian Mid-Century Modern Regency Desk Writing Table and Chair

About the Item

Beautiful and neoclassical midcentury Regency Italian writing table or desk with its paired newly upholstered chair both supported by elegant turned and fluted legs ending with tapered toupie feet, conjoined by an H-shaped stretcher. The desk features a double top, three drawers with brass opening handles and the legs are conjoined by an H shaped stretcher with a full bottom part showcasing all-around the rich wood grain patterns. As you can see from the pictures of the back side, the desk is intended for a wall use. Coming from an estate on the Portofino coast side.
