About the Item

An Italian smaller-sized writing desk with storage hidden beneath top from the 19th century. This super cute desk, or occasional table from Italy, is adorn with beautiful inlay on the top with a circular medallion with flower head at it's center and framed within a thin rectangular banding. The top of this piece slides back across the top, revealing storage and 7 little drawers hidden within it's interior. The table is raised on four squared legs with stylized knees, and gently taper towards their feet. If using as a desk, the leg clearance is approximately 23.25" in height. Please note that this listing is for a single table, the main image with two table views is to show how the top functions. This 19th century Italian table with floral inlay will make a sweet little writing desk, perhaps best floated within a room so that the nifty storage and drawers within are easily accessible.
