19th Century Biedermeier Writing Desk

About the Item

Very beautiful desk. The desk is from the Biedermeier period and was covered with cherry veneer with walnut & walnut root wood. The desk is very well suited to be placed in the middle of the room, as the back is also veneered. The front of the desk has 5 lockable drawers. The locks are from the time and are functional. The writing surface is covered with furniture linoleum.
