19th Century Black Gustavian Style Three Drawer Desk
About the Item
Large Gustavian style black painted desk with tapered legs. At just under 6" long, this desk makes an impression in both style and function.
The three functional drawers all lock with included 3 keys which are also used as pulls. Note the traditional Swedish diamond decorative detail on each drawer.
Backside has three false front drawers (as decoration only).
Restored, strong and stable. Later professionally painted in shades of black and lightly distressed to fit the age and lines of this handsome desk with brass accents.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large pine writing desk.
