19th century French bureau plat featuring beautifully veneered wood surface and black leather top.
Framed by a gilt brass border. The desk has three drawers across the front with elaborate ormolu mounts. Including finely cast escutcheons and decorative handles.
The desk stands on cabriole legs, decorated with interesting ormolu mounts featuring male masks and acanthus leaves that extend to the feet.
